This school year has been one of remarkable growth and change in Mifflinburg. Especially at this time of year, it is important to honor our graduates with pride. Teachers, administrators, and support staff have worked tremendously all year to bring greater achievement to our students and our community, and all are to be commended for these efforts. It never ceases to inspire me how much the power of teamwork can accomplish in a short period of time. It amazes me to witness the spectrum of student abilities from kindergarten, when many children struggle to read, write, or recognize numbers, to the senior year, which can include analyzing Thoreau, publishing essays, and applying the principles of physics. This 13-year journey is marked by the most incredible physical and mental growth spurt in a person’s lifetime, and in public schools, we have the privilege of participating with thousands of children as they navigate the course.
Thank you all for your contributions toward another successful school year. Keep on growing!
